The quality of life of patients who require artificial nutrition (oral, enteral, parenteral) at home is essentially dependent on a stable supply, training and organisation of all materials, the actual food and information. The administrative and logistical set-up of the necessary infrastructure is often a major challenge for the patients concerned and their relatives, but also for professionals such as nurses, doctors and dieticians.
